Michael Green

Former Writer

Michael Green is a writer and professor living in Tempe, Arizona. His writing has appeared in numerous publications including Salon, Looper, StudioBinder, Pop Matters, Film International, Senses of Cinema, Bright Lights Film Journal, and The Journal of Film and Video, among others. Library Journal named his three volume edited encyclopedia, Race in American Film: Voices and Visions that Shaped a Nation, a Best Reference work of 2017. He teaches film studies for UCLA Extension and creative writing for Scottsdale Community College.
