Willow Roberts

Computing Writer

Willow Roberts has been a Computing Writer at Digital Trends for a year and has been writing for about a decade. She has a particular interest in Apple products, as well as Windows PCs and emerging AI tech. She's been an enthusiastic Apple fan since she was old enough to save up for her first iPhone and is proud that she's never cracked a single screen. She’s currently waiting with bated breath for the next “iPhone moment” in tech -- the Apple Vision Pro didn’t quite do it but when she covered Meta’s Orion prototype, it looked pretty promising. Willow contributes to other tech outlets like XDA Developers and also has a passion project writing for a wildlife conservation charity. Her educational background is in English Literature and she has also studied Japanese for over a decade. She’s currently adding another field of study to her list by diving into a computer science course. Quite a few devices play a part in any given week for Willow, including her iPhone, MacBook Air, iPad, Apple Watch, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, and PlayStation 5. She also likes to play around on her Analogue Pocket and is slowly trying to learn how to create Game Boy Advance-style pixel art. As a freelancer with the freedom to work wherever she wants, Willow likes to spend her time writing articles in front of the rescued sea otter enclosure at Denmark’s National Aquarium.
