Who doesn't love faster internet? The U.S.'s FCC has agreed to open up the 3.5GHz midrange band for commercial use, and has put four companies, including Google and Sony, in charge of rolling out faster networks to phone owners across the country. But it won't happen overnight, so hold on tight.

The U.K. government has allowed Huawei to build its 5G networks, although with some restrictions. Huawei won't be supplying infrastructure for sensitive sites, such as power and military installations, and will have a 35% cap on its share of equipment used across the networks. The decision comes after months of delays.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 range is coming, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra is expected to be the largest phone in the range, with a four-lens camera system. Leakers have just revealed how Samsung's huge new phone will look, and according to their new renders, the Galaxy S20 Ultra will sport a two-tone camera module.

Volvo aims to release in-car 5G in the early 2020s, though it hasn't provided a more specific timeframe. It predicts quicker connection speeds will allow cars to talk to the infrastructure in real-time, so they'll be able to detect traffic or find a parking spot, for example. BMW is also developing in-car 5G.
