This Lenovo Chromebook Flex 3 deal from Best Buy combines style, ease-of-use, portability, and affordability all in one laptop. For less than $200, you’ll get a Chromebook with an 11.6-inch HD IPS touchscreen with an LED backlight, a MediaTek MT8173C processor, 32GB of eMMC storage, 4GB of RAM, a 360-degree flip and fold design that lets you adjust your screen in four different modes (including tablet mode), an HD webcam, and up to 10 hours of battery life, so you can play as hard as you work. With this deal, you’ll get $100 off of the original price of $279 and a portable, easy-to-use laptop (especially since it runs on ChromeOS) that weighs less than 3 pounds.

Best Buy is also offering this HP x360 Convertible 2-in-1 Chromebook at a $130 price cut from its original price of $399. And so for just $269, you’re getting a decent-sized Chromebook (at 14 inches) that features a touchscreen HD display with a WLED backlight, an Intel Celeron N4000 processor, 32GB of eMMC storage, 4GB of RAM, and an HD webcam with a dual-array microphone. This is another Chromebook that features a 360-degree flip-and-fold design, and so if versatility is important or you just really like tablet mode, then this is the deal for you.

This Chromebook is the most expensive one on this list, but it’s also the most feature-rich. That said, with this deal from Best Buy you’ll be saving $100 on this ASUS Chromebook Flip C436, which basically means you’ll be spending $700 instead of $800. Which is not too shabby for a mid-range Chromebook. For $700, you’re getting a 14-inch FHD display in a chassis that’s actually only 13 inches (which means you’re getting the best of both worlds: more screen for your entertainment and portability). You’re also getting a Chromebook that has a flip and fold 360-degree design, up to 12 hours of battery life, a backlit keyboard, a fingerprint sensor, 128GB of SSD storage, 8GB of RAM, and a 10th generation Intel Core i3 processor.

Did you think hitting delete on your AI chatbot conversation actually makes it disappear? Georgia Tech researchers just proved that's not entirely true. They have built a forensic tool called ORISA that can dig deleted conversations from your phone and even rebuild them into a working chatbot session you can keep talking to.

How can ORISA bring deleted AI conversations back?

Touchscreen laptops have been around for years. You can get them in all sizes and shapes. Just not from Apple. For years, the Cupertino giant has treated the idea of a touchscreen MacBook the way I treat a meeting that could have been an email: with open contempt. However, Wednesday looks like the day the company could finally change its mind.

The latest Apple invite puts the “Pro and Tell” showcase in Los Angeles at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET) on October 28, 2026. Instead of a regular live-streamed keynote, it is an invitation-only, hands-on event for a handful of press and creators (similar to what the company did for the MacBook Neo earlier this year).

Two residents of Chicago have filed a lawsuit in the US over claims that robots run by Coco Robotics and Serve Robotics captured their facial and hand measurements without consent, bringing renewed attention to the food delivery robots. The cases raise a troubling question: If a robot delivers food to your door, can it also be gathering sensitive information about you?

According to a report by The Associated Press, the proposed class-action lawsuits were filed in Cook County on Oct. 9 and allege violations of Illinois’ Biometric Information Privacy Act. The complaints claim that the robots’ cameras and LiDAR sensors captured information on customers’ faces and hands as they approached the machines to pick up their orders. Both have denied the allegations.
