Best Staples deals and sales

The work-from-home revolution has begun. Staples deals cover everything you need to set up the perfect home office.

Don’t assume that Staples is little more than an office supply store. Nowadays, Staples competes aggressively with big-box store like Best Buy and Walmart, serving up some of the best home office deals on all kind of brand-name electronics from hard drive deals and laptop deals to printer deals and more. Even better, you can browse the catalog online, and in many cases go pick up your order right at your local Staples if you don’t want to wait for the mailman. To make things even easier still, we’ve smoked out all the best Staples deals available right now so you can dive right in:

Most people probably think of Staples as the place you run to when you need to grab some office supplies like paper or printer ink in a hurry and can’t afford to wait for your online Amazon order to arrive by mail. And while Staples is indeed the go-to place for those last-minute top-ups on your work essentials, it’s now forced to compete more aggressively with other big retailers like Best Buy and Walmart when it comes to offering online deals on things such as computers, printers, and office furniture. The many Staples deals that are almost always on tap are an especially great boon to the many people who have joined the growing ranks of professionals working from home.

In other words, you should absolutely keep these Staples deals on your radar when you’re in need of some new tech (or other office equipment) and you’re on a budget. Staples carries everything from computers and monitors to iPads and AirPods — it’s not all suit-and-tie — with free delivery on a ton of items, including free next-day shipping on much of what’s in stock. Since Staples also has the benefit of running many brick-and-mortar retail locations around the country, delivery is generally pretty quick, and of course, you can always have your item shipped to your local store for pickup, which might be even faster. If it’s in stock at a nearby Staples, you can even order it online to reserve it and then go pick it up at your leisure.

Apple is less than a day away from launching its highly anticipated OLED MacBook Pro with a touch-sensitive screen. But it appears that the upgrade is going to cost a pretty penny. According to a report by Bloomberg, Apple is reportedly eyeing a starting price of $2,899 for the 14-inch MacBook Pro, while the 16-inch version could start at $3,399 in the US.

"At $2,899, the 14-inch model would mark the highest starting price for a new MacBook Pro model, surpassing the $2,799 Apple charged for a 17-inch version introduced in 2006," says the report. The report claims that Apple is targeting a minimum price hike of $400 for its upcoming redesigned 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models.

I've spent a good amount of time digging into the spec sheet of the new M6 MacBook Pro (14-inch), and for all intents and purposes, this is a classic Apple "chip and connectivity" refresh. It's not a full redesign. The chassis, Liquid Retina XDR panel, speakers, ports, and battery, all of them carry over unchanged.

However, the M6 brings more cores, stronger on-device AI, higher memory bandwidth on the larger configs, and modern wireless. Here’s the practical rundown of what actually improved, and whether those gains are worth your money.
