Dell announced the new Dell 24 Monitor (P2416D) today, designed to provide optimal screen performance to its mainstream customers. The monitor has Quad HD resolution and 99 percent sRGB color coverage, meaning users will have consistent color from every angle.

The 2,560 x 1,440 monitor is 23.8 inches in size. It also comes with USB 2.0 ports, VGA, DisplayPort 1.2, and HDMI 1.4 for connectivity to both legacy and current PCs. The monitor itself has a wide range of adjustability features, allowing users to pivot, swirl, and tilt the product to achieve the utmost versatility.

“We are focused on democratizing monitors with higher resolution for everyday use,” Dell wrote on its community blog. “We understand that higher resolution can markedly improve a user’s productivity, whether they are creating content or viewing images. Monitor resolution — from HD to Full HD to Quad HD and beyond — has a direct impact on your computing experience, especially when you stare at a screen for long hours at work every day.”

The Dell 24 Monitor will start at $369.99, and it will initially launch in China at the end of April. The product will be for sale in the U.S. in May.

This product is one of many that have been added to Dell’s monitor portfolio since the beginning of the year. In January 2015, Dell announced two multimedia monitors designed to appeal to professionals who spend long hours staring at their screens.

The Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved Monitor — notable for its curved screen — was designed to offer clear, vivid visuals to users by providing 20 percent more pixels than two full HD monitors. The Dell UltraSharp 27 5K Monitor is targeting customers who want the absolute highest pixel density possible in a 27-inch display.
