With only a few days to go until its official launch the website Videocardz.com has leaked a collection of slides which shed some light on the specs for the upcoming Geforce GTX 960 graphics card.

The card, which is made to fill out the gap between the hardest of the hardcore gamers and more budget conscious consumers, will reportedly come with 2GB of DDR5 memory, a GM206 1024 CUDA core GPU clocked to 1127MHz, and an effective memory speed of 9.3 gigabits per second.

Standard outputs include HDMI 2.0, two DVI, and a single DisplayPort 1.2. A 6-pin PCI-Express power connector will be required for installation with the card being rated a thermal design power of 120 watts. Note, though, that third-party cards may change the layout of ports and the power drawn by the GPU.

Overclocking potential was a major focus for Nvidia in the GTX 960, and it says the card will easily handle processor clock speeds of up to 1500MHz, and a memory capacity of up to 7.5Gbps.

The company says the GTX 960 will be the perfect budget-conscious card that can easily handle 1080p gaming at 60fps without flinching. Some of the games tested include the latest AAA titles like Battlefield 4, Assassin’s Creed Unity, and Civilization: Beyond Earth.

Still no exact details on when we can expect the 960 to be released, nor what it might cost when it finally makes it out to market, but stay tuned to Digital Trends for all the latest updates on Nvidia’s newest card.
