As the summer ends, it’s a great time to take stock of what you have and what you want. For us, that’s meant reviewing many of our ‘Best Of’ lists and seeing where the price has gone and what deals have emerged. Recently, we found that the best mechanical keyboard went on sale. This ongoing Logitech G915 TKL deal puts it at $100 below MSRP. But there’s even more value to be had from keyboards in that list. The Redragon K552 was, at that time, considered to be a great value buy at its regular $60 MSRP price. But now, with deals and the passage of time, you can get it for just $35. That’s a savings of $25 and an incredible value for a keyboard. Tap the button below to check out the keyboard for yourself and make your purchase while this deal is on, or keep reading to see what makes this mechanical keyboard so appealing.
The big deal with the Redragon K552 is that it’s legitimately a mechanical keyboard with real mechanical switches, not just a boxy imitation board. Each key is responsive, yet click-free, and has red switch tactile feedback. More on the gamery side of things, the Redragon K552 has zoned RGB and fun backlighting modes (think “wave” or “reactive”) to make your keyboard a part of the experience and not just a driver of it. Plus, it’s tenkeyless design keeps everything compact, a perfect choice for cramped desks and smaller office spaces. The Redragon K552 will appeal to anyone who favors functionality, small touches of flair, and getting maximum value.
We were happy with the value you get out of the Redragon at its usual $60 price point. But now, $25 less at just $35, it actually has a lower cost than the item at the top of our best budget mechanical keyboards list. That makes this an excellent time to upgrade any non-mechanical keyboards you have remaining at a killer price. All you have to do is tap the button below.
The absolutely absurd idea of putting a touchscreen display on a mouse isn't exactly new. Turtle Beach already did it with its Command Series MC7, which features a 2.25-inch control screen. But apparently, even that wasn't ridiculous enough for Arctic Fox Technologies. Its new Super Mouse looks like someone took the chunky old Atari ST mouse, slapped a touchscreen and scroll wheel on it, and called it an upgrade.
The result is a rather unusual-looking mouse that is now on Kickstarter, starting at $199. And as ridiculous as it looks, some of its features are genuinely intriguing.
Apple is less than a day away from launching its highly anticipated OLED MacBook Pro with a touch-sensitive screen. But it appears that the upgrade is going to cost a pretty penny. According to a report by Bloomberg, Apple is reportedly eyeing a starting price of $2,899 for the 14-inch MacBook Pro, while the 16-inch version could start at $3,399 in the US.
"At $2,899, the 14-inch model would mark the highest starting price for a new MacBook Pro model, surpassing the $2,799 Apple charged for a 17-inch version introduced in 2006," says the report. The report claims that Apple is targeting a minimum price hike of $400 for its upcoming redesigned 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models.
I've spent a good amount of time digging into the spec sheet of the new M6 MacBook Pro (14-inch), and for all intents and purposes, this is a classic Apple "chip and connectivity" refresh. It's not a full redesign. The chassis, Liquid Retina XDR panel, speakers, ports, and battery, all of them carry over unchanged.
However, the M6 brings more cores, stronger on-device AI, higher memory bandwidth on the larger configs, and modern wireless. Here’s the practical rundown of what actually improved, and whether those gains are worth your money.
