Best Buy knocked $200 off the Microsoft Surface Pro with CoPilot+

This Microsoft Surface Pro comes with the new Copilot+, and you can get it $200 off with this excellent deal.

With AI being such a big driving force behind tech, you can find it in nearly everything nowadays. So, if you’re looking for one of the best laptops on the market with Microsoft Copilot, then this Microsoft Surface Pro configuration is the way to go. In fact, you can even get a solid $200 discount on it from Best Buy, which knocks the price down to $1,300 from $1,500, making it quite an excellent pick if you’re looking for something that’s just as portable as a laptop but with more power.

Microsoft has started rolling out the latest 24H2 update for all Windows 11 PCs, especially ones with a Snapdragon X Elite chipset, which this tablet has. This new update makes Copilot+ laptops useful for AI with a lot of new features such as AI-powered Windows search, better photo manipulation tools in Paint and Photos, and the new “Click to Do,” which gives you a contextual menu based on what is already on the screen. Besides these new AI features, the Snapdragon X Elite should easily handle most of your day-to-day and productivity tasks with relative ease.

Besides that, this laptop comes with a gorgeous 13-inch OLED screen that runs a 2880 x 1920 resolution for you to work with, which makes it a generally light and easy-to-carry-around laptop. The 16GB of RAM is also pretty excellent and will give you a smooth experience, while the 512GB of storage should be more than enough. You can also supplement that with one of these external hard drive deals if you want to, but you should be fine for the most part. Luckily, the detachable keyboard is also included in this package, so you can use it like a traditional laptop without buying extra hardware.

Overall, there’s a lot to love about the Microsoft Surface Pro, and if you’re a fan of CoPilot+, then this deal from Best Buy that knocks $200 off is likely right up your alley. That said, if you’re not entirely sure if it’s for you, then you may also want to check out these other excellent laptop deals for some alternatives.

Did you think hitting delete on your AI chatbot conversation actually makes it disappear? Georgia Tech researchers just proved that's not entirely true. They have built a forensic tool called ORISA that can dig deleted conversations from your phone and even rebuild them into a working chatbot session you can keep talking to.

How can ORISA bring deleted AI conversations back?

Touchscreen laptops have been around for years. You can get them in all sizes and shapes. Just not from Apple. For years, the Cupertino giant has treated the idea of a touchscreen MacBook the way I treat a meeting that could have been an email: with open contempt. However, Wednesday looks like the day the company could finally change its mind.

The latest Apple invite puts the “Pro and Tell” showcase in Los Angeles at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET) on October 28, 2026. Instead of a regular live-streamed keynote, it is an invitation-only, hands-on event for a handful of press and creators (similar to what the company did for the MacBook Neo earlier this year).

Two residents of Chicago have filed a lawsuit in the US over claims that robots run by Coco Robotics and Serve Robotics captured their facial and hand measurements without consent, bringing renewed attention to the food delivery robots. The cases raise a troubling question: If a robot delivers food to your door, can it also be gathering sensitive information about you?

According to a report by The Associated Press, the proposed class-action lawsuits were filed in Cook County on Oct. 9 and allege violations of Illinois’ Biometric Information Privacy Act. The complaints claim that the robots’ cameras and LiDAR sensors captured information on customers’ faces and hands as they approached the machines to pick up their orders. Both have denied the allegations.
