Most vacuums handle solid messes, like dirt, dust, and debris, and not necessarily with ease. The Dyad Pro is a versatile system that can vanquish both wet and dry messes. You can vacuum and mop simultaneously with a quick push-and-pull motion, saving you lots of time and effort. An incredible 17,000 pascals of suction power is delivered through the Dyad Pro’s unique cleaning head to leave no messes behind. Improved edge-to-edge cleaning with front rollers ensures you can clean right up against the baseboards with virtually no margins for error. When you’re all done, the self-cleaning RevoBrush will ensure the system remains clogged, debris-free, and ready to go exactly when you are. It means less maintenance for you all around.
Roborock’s S7 Max Ultra comes with the ultimate all-in-one docking station. It does it all. Between cleanings, it self-washes and dries the mop to prevent nasty buildup on the dock, brushes, and your floors. It also self-empties and refills the clean mop water, as well as automatically washes the dock itself. A powerful 5,500 pascals of suction power ensures everything from dust and pet hair is removed and contained, while the mopping system delivers consistent and downward high pressure to get rid of grime, stickiness, and residues.
The vacuum also senses when it’s moving over rugs or carpets and automatically lifts the mop to prevent everything from getting wet and gross. The reactive obstacle avoidance is able to keep the S7 Max gliding along without getting stuck on furniture, running over toys, shoes, or other obstacles, and without moving near hazards like stairwells. It means less maintenance and less worrying for you all around, especially thanks to the app-based controls you can use to configure the entire system.

Let me tell you, after writing hundreds of these for Black Friday and Cyber Week, it seems like many brands are the same. Ecovacs is a standout, though, and wants us to emphasize its superior cleaning power and cutting-edge intelligence features that no other brand or competitor offers. No, really. Superior cleaning comes in the form of 8,000 pascals of suction power, intelligent 15mm auto mop lifting, self-washing with hot water via the dock, and intelligence for days. The AI-controlled AIVI 3D 2.0 obstacle avoidance, and the industry’s first dual-laser LiDAR navigation, allow it to accurately “learn” and “think” while moving through your home.
You also get seamless interactions via YIKO 2.0, a built-in voice assistant. Plus, you can check in with live video monitoring thanks to the Starlight camera or two-way call with others even if you’re not home. “Honey, I’m on my way home.” With the Black Friday price at an all-time low, it’s like the ultimate holiday gift from Ecovacs.
Small appliances can have big savings, too:
Apple has just launched its latest iPad mini with a notable set of upgrades, including an OLED screen, improved speakers, and a more resilient build. It also gets a new chip, and the whole package costs $200 more than its predecessor. But if you look closely at Apple’s online store, you’ll realize that $699 isn’t enough to get you the most powerful version of the A20 Pro chip inside this tablet. In fact, even if you pay $800 for the 256GB model, you still won’t get the beefiest variant. Only when you jump to the 512GB trim, which costs an absurd $999, do you get the most powerful flavor of the A20 Pro.
The $999 model gets more than extra storage
Ahead of its October 28 “Pro and Tell” event, Apple has refreshed the iPad mini with an OLED display (the first for the mini line), the company’s latest in-house, Pro-grade chipset, and something else that made me read twice: an Acoustic Display design.
The iPad mini (8th generation) starts at $699 for Wi-Fi and $849 for cellular variants. Pre-orders start October 28, 2026, and general sales begin November 6, 2026.
Apple has sent out invites for an event on October 28 in Los Angeles, and if the rumor mill is right, it's going to be a big one for Mac fans.
