All debate answers in Metaphor: ReFantazio

All of the Metaphor: ReFantazio pastimes serve as ways to upgrade your skills — in this case, they’re called your Royal Virtues, and debating is one of the more unique ones. Partaking in a debate against other candidates for the throne can upgrade your Eloquence and Imagination stat, but you have to get the right answer for the most amount of points, alongside some Reeve and an increase in your popularity.

Not only are there correct and incorrect answers per debate but there are also only specific dates where you can engage in these debates. They’re a good use of your time since you gain multiple rewards for doing one task that takes up an entire day. We’ll uncover when you can do these debates, and which answers are the correct ones in Metaphor: ReFantazio.

To start a debate with a candidate, interact with the podium in any of the many cities and towns of Euchronia. As a reminder, these debates are only available to partake in on their specific date, so you may easily miss the opportunity to debate these contestants.

This debate happens with Lina on 7/7 in Martira, and if you pick What are your policies you’ll receive 2,500 Reeve alongside four Eloquence and one Imagination points.

Next up is the debate against Roger starting on 7/9 at the same location as Lina. Picking Taxes benefit us all will grant you 2,500 Reeve, four Eloquence, and one Imagination.

On 7/16, also in Martira, you can debate Loveless. Choose the Alcohol won’t bring equality option to get 2,500 Reeve, four Eloquence, and one Imagination.

The next set of debates will be happening in Port Brilehaven, and starting on 7/23 it’ll be against Jin. The rewards have increased to 5,000 Reeve, five Eloquence and one Imagination if you say the right answer, which is We should help anyone.

On 7/24 you can start a debate with Glodell in Port Brilehaven. Choosing to say You only parrot Louis! will also grant you 5,000 Reeve, five Eloquence, and one Imagination.

The next debate takes place on 7/26 against Rudolf in Port Brilehaven. Say The tribes must stand together to earn 5,000 Reeve, five Eloquence, and one Imagination.

The final debate that happens in Port Brilehaven is on 7/27 against Milo. You’ll want to choose Beauty is deeper than our skin to receive 5,000 Reeve, five Eloquence, and one Imagination.

The last available debate is against Julian in Altabury Heights starting 9/13. Pick The present day matters too option to receive a whopping 10,000 Reeve, seven Eloquence, and two Imagination.

Not only are debates great for earning Reeve and Eloquence but you can also receive a Trophy/Achievement. You’ll get the Debate Me! Trophy in Metaphor: ReFantazio once you complete all debates and pick the right answers for each. If you’re a completionist, you’ll want to make sure you don’t mess up your speeches.

The announcement came during the Xbox Developer Direct 2026 showcase, where Playground Games shared the first extended gameplay look and confirmed the release timing, including early access for Premium Edition players.
