We don’t know for sure if Avowed will be one of the best Xbox Series X games, but hopes are high that it will be. This year is packed with amazing upcoming video games like Doom The Dark Ages and The Outer Worlds 2, but Avowed is the first to kick off Xbox’s year. RPG fans are beyond excited to visit the Living Lands for the first time knowing the level of quality Obsidian is capable of. Besides knowing what type of character you want to be and what weapons you want to play with, you need to make sure your console or PC is ready to let you into the action as soon as the game launches. Here are all the preload details you need to know about Avowed.

Avowed is coming out for everyone on February 18, but those who preorder the Premium Edition will be entitled to 5 days early access and can start playing on February 13.

Avowed will be just under 72GB on PC, so having 75GB free is the recommended requirement.

The Xbox file size hasn’t been confirmed as of yet, but it shouldn’t be too different from the PC version. If you want to be safe, make sure you have at least 100GB of space clear on your console.

Anyone who has preordered Avowed can already preload the game on Xbox consoles. That includes preorders through Game Pass, regardless of which version you preorder. Simply visit the store page on your console and choose to preinstall it. For now, the file will only be around 325MB but will be much larger closer to launch.

PC players will have to wait a little longer before preloading becomes available, if at all. Until we get official word on whether or not PC players will be able to preload, it might be safer to assume you will have to download the game completely at launch.

Preorders for Avowed are currently live if you want to begin preloading. There are two digital versions and one physical that you can claim. Here’s what each one includes:

Digital Standard Edition – $70

Digital Premium Edition – $90

Premium Edition Steelbook (Physical) – $95

The heart of the project is a trimmed and modified PS4 Slim motherboard, cut down to shrink the system without losing core functionality.
