There are still a lot of excellent Black Friday gaming headset deals left over as part of Cyber Monday you can take advantage of today. Luckily, there is a huge selection of Cyber Monday deals out there from some of the best brands in the business, such as HyperX, SteelSeries, and Logitech. With so many options, it can be hard to pick something good, which is why we’ve gone out and collected some of our favorite Cyber Monday headset deals for you below.
Also, if you’re thinking of upgrading the rest of your setup, check out these Cyber Monday gaming laptop deals, Cyber Monday gaming PC deals, and Cyber Monday gaming chair deals.
Logitech is a juggernaut when it comes to gaming peripherals, and this G733 LIGHTSPEED headset is no different, and even without the 40% discount, it’s worth grabbing. It has a high level of comfort, surround sound, a detachable mic if you want to use it only as headphones. Sadly, the extra savings from My Best Buy Plus memberships is not longer active..
HyperX has made a lot of excellent headphones and headsets, and this budget offering is great with it’s 43% discount. It has connectivity to pretty much all the major consoles, and the audio fidelity is excellent for this price point, although the microphone isn’t retractable, which might be annoying for some.
One cool thing about the Astro Gaming A50 is that it’s not only a great headset for gaming, it also comes with it’s own base station which charges it, so you don’t have to just lay it randomly wherever you can on your desk. While the original $250 is a bit pricey, the 40% discount brings it down to a much more reasonable $150.
Even though this is technically the non-RGB version of the same Virtuoso XT headset our reviewer Niels Broekhuijsen had his hands on, it is still ” a stunning wireless gaming headset that tries to achieve it all.” It’s a great option for those who want both a great headset and headphones, all for just $270 instead of $270.
SteelSeries has made a name for itself in the mouse market, but its headsets are also really high quality, and while you only get an 11% discount with the Nova 3, it’s worth grabbing, especially for the retractable microphone. In terms of features, it comes with 7.1 surround, great audio fidelity, and a cool RGB ring on each earcup.
Turtle Beach makes some great mid-range gear with budget pricing, and this Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX headset is no different. It has great audio quality, a retractable microphone, a 30-foot wireless range, and a $63 discount that knocks the price down to $117.
Taking it up yet another notch, this SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro even comes with its own built-in amplifier, so you can get high-quality and loud sounds at a twist of a knob. It’s discounted down to $220 from $250 and is perfect for somebody who really wants the best of the best.
Buying any good gaming headset can make a big difference in your gaming experience, but there are some things that are certainly worth considering before you take the plunge. For example, having a detachable or retractable microphone can be very convenient, especially if you plan to buy a stand-alone microphone in the future. Another thing to think about is whether you want to go with a wired or wireless option, given that the latter means you’ll have to keep up with charging the battery, which can get frustrating sometimes.
Of course, the most important thing to consider is always going to be the audio quality, not just for the headphones but for the microphone as well. After all, if the folks you are playing with can’t hear you properly or you sound garbled, then it doesn’t make much sense to spend a big sum of money. Also, while not as big a deal, having headphones with better and more complex surround sound can be super helpful if you play the types of games that really focus on audio, such as FPS or competitive games.
While there are a huge amount of headsets out there, you’ll also find many generic options that aren’t necessarily that good. That’s why we fall back on our years of experience as reviewers and deal hunters to not only pick the best deal but also headsets that come from quality brands and are worth your investment. At the end of the day, we want to make sure you get the best bang for your buck, so we aim to find you the cheapest headset deals before putting them on this list so that you’re always buying with confidence.
Acer’s Predator Atlas 8 finally has a US release date and price, several months after the company first showed off the handheld in May. The highlight is the Intel Arc G3 Extreme chip inside, which has been adopted by only a couple of other consoles besides the Atlas 8. This version will go on sale exclusively at Best Buy on November 1 for $1,299.99.
Acer originally said the Atlas 8 would arrive in North America in October, but left pricing open at the time. The launch came amid the ongoing DRAM crunch, which has made memory more expensive across the PC industry and complicated pricing for hardware makers.
Gaming laptops and I have a complicated relationship. One of my first gaming rigs was an Acer Predator that was already outdated when I bought it. I was a broke college kid, and that was the best I could afford. So trying out high-end gaming laptops is always fun. But ASUS' ROG Zephyrus G14 is a lot more than a laptop that can run AAA games. It is portable, so you're not lugging around a 2.5kg machine everywhere you go. It is built well, none of that plastic chassis, and can even function as a normal laptop outside of just gaming.
Google Play is borrowing one of the Nintendo Switch’s most useful little tricks. A new Sidekick tool called Playbacks captures a short clip after something interesting has already happened, sparing players from running a screen recorder throughout an entire game.
Playbacks is part of Google Play Store v53.8 and keeps saved clips on the phone. Google first announced it earlier this month, but the new Play Store update marks its arrival for players. Anyone who has watched a perfect win vanish because the record button came too late already understands the appeal.
