Fortnite Chapter 5 is nearing its end very soon and Epic is ready to kick off the new Chapter 2 Remix season with a live event. These events always generate a considerable amount of hype among the player community, and this time is no different.
Epic has announced that a season-ending live event called Remix: The Prelude will kick things off for the next season with a tuneful twist. If you’re one of the players who wishes to attend the event, we’ve got you covered.
The upcoming Fortnite live event Remix: The Prelude will start at 6:30 p.m. ET on November 1, 2024. However, time zones and dates may vary across regions. Here’s a full list of when you’ll be able to see the event:
November 1
November 2
Remix: The Prelude will have a new playlist of the same name, which means it will be a different game mode than your typical Creative/UEFN maps. As per Epic, the event will take place on the Battle Royale island, so brace yourselves as it goes live.
To join the event, all you need to do is scroll down in the Discover Row under the By Epic column and you’ll be able to spot the playlist icon there.
We advise you to load into the playlist at least 30 minutes prior to the event to avoid long queue times and connection errors, both of which are quite common in an event of such scale.
The Remix Prelude live event has a concert theme that is rumored to bring in Marshmello to kick-start a party that will rift players onto the Chapter 2 Remix island. As of now, you’ll be able to spot a Rift Beacon active at the Restored Reels point of interest (POI )that WILL SHOOT a beam at the screen and open a portal through the Chapter 2 graffiti.
However, more rumors suggest that rather than players traveling to the island, POIs and more gameplay elements from Chapter 2 seasons could arrive on the Chapter 5 map.
All of this will unfold as players get closer to the Chapter 5 ending live event that will kick things off in a remixed way for OG players who loved all the seasons of Chapter 2.

The hook is familiar, your choices matter, people notice, and consequences linger. The difference is scale. This is a fully open world take, with townsfolk on routines who respond to what you do, even when you think no one’s watching. It’s still chasing that mix of heroics, petty crime, and dry British humor, only with modern action RPG muscle.

Nintendo first teased the Talking Flower during a Nintendo Direct showcase last September. The company has now shared more details about the product, and confirmed when it will officially go on sale. Based on the flowers in the Super Mario Bros. Wonder game, the Talking Flower is exactly what its name suggests: a potted flower that speaks around twice per hour, delivering lines like "Sometimes it's nice to space out" or "Bowser and his buds can't get us here, right?"
