Believe it or not, Fortnite: Battle Royale is now two years old. Since the summer of 2017, the game has amassed an overwhelming player base and immense popularity. In honor of Fortnite’s second anniversary, the island in Battle Royale is covered in festive decorations as Epic Games hosts yet another birthday event where players can participate in new limited-time modes, birthday-themed challenges, and more. This is in addition to the overtime challenges also happening right now.

There are only four challenges in total for players to complete during this limited-time birthday event. While this isn’t many, these challenges have some awesome rewards. From weapon skins to emoticons and more, you won’t want to miss out on all of the goodies.

You can find the full-text list of the birthday challenges below:

As you can see, many of the birthday challenges are similar to ones you’ve likely tackled before. There is one challenge, however, that can be difficult to complete if you don’t know where to look. That challenge tasks you to “Dance in front of 10 different birthday cake locations.”

This challenge can take you a bit. You’ll have to find 10 different birthday cakes in total, and that requires you to visit various locations on the Battle Royale map. You not only have to visit and dance in front of 10 birthday cakes but they each must be in unique locations that you haven’t visited yet in a match.

We recommend that you do this in Team Rumble so you have more time to complete this challenge. We also suggest finding a vehicle as soon as you can or use the slipstream in the middle of the island so you can travel quickly between the areas.

The first location we recommend you visit is Junk Junction. In the center of this named area, you will find a large birthday cake with numerous layers as seen in the screenshot above.

The next location of the next birthday cake is Pleasant Park. If you’re heading there from Junk Junction, you’ll want to travel southeast. When you get there, head to the center of the town and look for the pavilion north of the soccer field. You will find the next birthday cake on the western side of it.

The third birthday cake can be found directly east of the second location towards Loot Lake. It’s electrified at the moment, alluding to the upcoming launch of season 10. The birthday cake you’re looking for can be found on the northern side of the lake. Look for a small hill made of rocks and the third birthday cake will be right on top of it.

This fourth birthday cake is going to be in the center of the Viking Village. Head southwest to the unnamed location atop the large mountain near Snobby Shores. When you land, build yourself a ramp or walk up the mountain, and head to the center of the village where you’ll find the next birthday cake.

To get to this fifth location, travel slightly southeast from the Viking Village to Shifty Shafts. Once there, find the eastern gate and head inside. You will see the next birthday cake right at the entrance. With that done, we are now halfway finished with this challenge.

This sixth birthday cake location is rather easy to find. From Shifty Shafts, head directly east until you reach Salty Springs. You’ll find a birthday cake waiting for you in the center of this little far town.

The seventh birthday cake location can be found just south of Salty Springs in the farm of Fatal Fields. Just like Salty Springs, all you need to do is head to the center of the town near the barns and you will find the birthday cake.

The final three locations are very close to one another and you will likely need to head into another match for these. Head to Lonely Lodge on the eastern side of the island, then travel to the middle of the forest area where there is a large rock. You will need to land there or build your way up to the top, and there you will find the birthday cake.

The next birthday cake location is south from Lonely Lodge, in the desert. There you will find an unnamed location with a race track on the edge of the desert. Head to this racetrack and look for a little hill on the western side of the racetrack. Atop this tiny hill is the birthday cake.

The final birthday cake can be found south of the racetrack location. It isn’t actually in Paradise Palms but to the east of it. There is a small cliff overlooking the city on one side and the ocean on the other. Atop the cliff are some solar power panels and in between them is a birthday cake hidden from view. You’ll need to build a ramp to up to reach it.

Once you have danced in front of all 10 birthday cakes, you will earn a pretty sweet reward. You will receive a new birthday music set that you can equip and enjoy as you play the game. And, it doesn’t stop there. If you can complete all four Fortnite birthday challenges, you will receive the Birthday Slice unique pickaxe as a nice addition to your collection.

The concept is as simple as it is destructive: you plug your charger into the phone to nock an arrow, and you physically yank it out to fire. It is undeniably clever, bizarre, and almost certainly a terrible idea for the longevity of your hardware.

Your Fable reboot preview is here, open world Albion looks gloriously chaotic

The hook is familiar, your choices matter, people notice, and consequences linger. The difference is scale. This is a fully open world take, with townsfolk on routines who respond to what you do, even when you think no one’s watching. It’s still chasing that mix of heroics, petty crime, and dry British humor, only with modern action RPG muscle.

Nintendo’s latest product wants to cheer you up with random quips

Nintendo first teased the Talking Flower during a Nintendo Direct showcase last September. The company has now shared more details about the product, and confirmed when it will officially go on sale. Based on the flowers in the Super Mario Bros. Wonder game, the Talking Flower is exactly what its name suggests: a potted flower that speaks around twice per hour, delivering lines like "Sometimes it's nice to space out" or "Bowser and his buds can't get us here, right?"
