New Surgeon Simulator DLC lets you really get inside Donald Trump

By this point, just about everyone has an opinion on Donald Trump. Bossa Studios has released a new update to Surgeon Simulator that will allow gamers to operate on Trump, either giving him a heart of gold or a heart of stone.

Just about everybody has an opinion about Donald Trump, but what if you were a surgeon and he was lying there on your operating table — what would you do?

Well, Bossa Studios was wondering just that, and has just released a new Inside Donald Trump DLC for Surgeon Simulator that lets gamers operate on the Republican front-runner.

Surgeon Simulator is a comical video game in which a players must try and operate on a patient in hopes of saving his life. There’s one catch: You have finger dexterity of a Labrador retriever. The game gives you control of every finger. It’s essentially QWOP meets Operation. This can be challenging to play, but absolutely hilarious (and morbid) to watch.

For some who may have been put off by Trump’s rhetoric, the Inside Donald Trump DLC could be a safe way to exact comical revenge. It’s much safer, and a lot more legal, than jumping on stage with the presumptive Republican nominee for president.

There are some nifty new medical items added to the game, specifically for Trump. These include putting him to sleep using Trump Vodka, giving him some bedside manner with a Trump Steak, or loosening his organs with the Trump Tower. Sadly you can’t put his organs in a bucket of Trump Ice. And of course, there’s a new set of “Trumptastic” achievements for players to unlock.

Bossa Studios will also be tracking what users are doing to Trump. You can see right now if gamers are giving Trump a heart of gold or a heart of stone.

The DLC is free for owners of Surgeon Simulator Anniversary Edition. If you don’t own the game, it’s currently on sale on Steam at a hefty discount. Just about everyone can get in on the Trump abscission action.

Acer’s Predator Atlas 8 finally has a US release date and price, several months after the company first showed off the handheld in May. The highlight is the Intel Arc G3 Extreme chip inside, which has been adopted by only a couple of other consoles besides the Atlas 8. This version will go on sale exclusively at Best Buy on November 1 for $1,299.99.

Acer originally said the Atlas 8 would arrive in North America in October, but left pricing open at the time. The launch came amid the ongoing DRAM crunch, which has made memory more expensive across the PC industry and complicated pricing for hardware makers.

Gaming laptops and I have a complicated relationship. One of my first gaming rigs was an Acer Predator that was already outdated when I bought it. I was a broke college kid, and that was the best I could afford. So trying out high-end gaming laptops is always fun. But ASUS' ROG Zephyrus G14 is a lot more than a laptop that can run AAA games. It is portable, so you're not lugging around a 2.5kg machine everywhere you go. It is built well, none of that plastic chassis, and can even function as a normal laptop outside of just gaming.

Google Play is borrowing one of the Nintendo Switch’s most useful little tricks. A new Sidekick tool called Playbacks captures a short clip after something interesting has already happened, sparing players from running a screen recorder throughout an entire game.

Playbacks is part of Google Play Store v53.8 and keeps saved clips on the phone. Google first announced it earlier this month, but the new Play Store update marks its arrival for players. Anyone who has watched a perfect win vanish because the record button came too late already understands the appeal.
