Nintendo is a company long known for innovation. The company’s latest system, the Nintendo Switch, more than lives up to this pedigree with its unique console/handheld hybrid design. While portable, the Switch isn’t exactly something you can easily slip into your pocket, and its large display means that you probably want to invest in a good carrying case and screen protector to keep it looking pretty.
If you’re the lucky owner of a Switch and are looking for a high-quality but inexpensive way to keep it protected, then iVapo has you covered with its great Buy Now and Buy Now . Every gamer knows that peripherals can add up quickly in terms of cost, but iVapo’s highly rated Switch accessories can help protect your gear without breaking the bank.
The iVapo case features a tough outer shell and a padded interior that absorbs shocks and keeps your Switch secure without placing pressure on the screen. Inside, the case provides room for the console, its paddle controllers, data cable, and plenty of game cartridges and SD cards. The clamshell design securely zips closed and features a rubberized non-slip handle for carrying.
Unlike many flimsy plastic screen protectors that use an adhesive film that can leave unsightly bubbles, iVapo’s are made of solid, scratch-resistant tempered glass that guards your Switch’s screen against blemishes as well as impacts. The protectors are 0.33mm thick, providing maximum visibility while maintaining the touch responsiveness of the console’s display, and come in a pack of two.
The iVapo Nintendo Switch case and screen protectors are already on sale but a limited-time promotion sweetens the deal even further: The checkout code 7NAFDUZA lets you score Buy Now , and the code 2RE9UPJF brings the 2-pack of Buy Now . Combined with the current discount, these promo codes give you a total savings of $28 when you buy the case and screen protectors together for just $12.
Acer’s Predator Atlas 8 finally has a US release date and price, several months after the company first showed off the handheld in May. The highlight is the Intel Arc G3 Extreme chip inside, which has been adopted by only a couple of other consoles besides the Atlas 8. This version will go on sale exclusively at Best Buy on November 1 for $1,299.99.
Acer originally said the Atlas 8 would arrive in North America in October, but left pricing open at the time. The launch came amid the ongoing DRAM crunch, which has made memory more expensive across the PC industry and complicated pricing for hardware makers.
Gaming laptops and I have a complicated relationship. One of my first gaming rigs was an Acer Predator that was already outdated when I bought it. I was a broke college kid, and that was the best I could afford. So trying out high-end gaming laptops is always fun. But ASUS' ROG Zephyrus G14 is a lot more than a laptop that can run AAA games. It is portable, so you're not lugging around a 2.5kg machine everywhere you go. It is built well, none of that plastic chassis, and can even function as a normal laptop outside of just gaming.
Google Play is borrowing one of the Nintendo Switch’s most useful little tricks. A new Sidekick tool called Playbacks captures a short clip after something interesting has already happened, sparing players from running a screen recorder throughout an entire game.
Playbacks is part of Google Play Store v53.8 and keeps saved clips on the phone. Google first announced it earlier this month, but the new Play Store update marks its arrival for players. Anyone who has watched a perfect win vanish because the record button came too late already understands the appeal.
