Razer made a Cinnamoroll headset, and it is aggressively adorable

Razer’s Sanrio collaboration has already produced a full desk setup, and the final drop is now here. The company has launched the Razer Kraken Kitty V2 BT Cinnamoroll Edition, a wireless headset themed around one of Sanrio’s most recognizable characters.

Cinnamoroll is a white puppy from Sanrio, the Japanese company behind Hello Kitty and several other globally recognized character brands. He is known for his long floppy ears, blue eyes, curly tail, and soft cloud-like look. As per the Sanrio lore, he was born high above the clouds and can fly by flapping his big ears. Razer has leaned heavily into that identity for this headset, replacing the usual kitty look with Cinnamoroll’s floppy ears and a sky-blue color scheme.

The Cinnamoroll Edition costs $139.99 in the U.S., which is a noticeable jump over the regular Razer Kraken Kitty V2 BT, listed at $99.99. So, yes, part of the price is clearly for the Sanrio treatment.

The core hardware is still the same. It uses 40mm Razer TriForce drivers, connects over Bluetooth 5.2, and weighs 325 grams. Razer lists up to 40 hours of battery life, USB-C charging, oval ear cushions, built-in omnidirectional microphones, and two Razer Chroma RGB lighting zones on the ears and earcups.

The headset is the final release in Razer’s Cinnamoroll lineup, which already includes Cinnamoroll-themed hardware like the Razer Iskur V2 X NewGen gaming chair, Kraken V4 X wired headset, Ornata V3 Tenkeyless keyboard, Cobra mouse, and a Cobra plus Gigantus V2 mousepad bundle.

The new headset is not the obvious pick if you are shopping purely for specs. At this price, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 is likely the better value. The Cinnamoroll Edition is for Sanrio fans who want their gaming setup to look softer, cuter, and far more cloud-puppy-coded, even if that means paying extra for the design.
