If you’re looking for a great deal on the Google Home Max smart speaker this Black Friday, look no further than Walmart. The company has cut the original price from $399 to $199. The Max comes in two colors, charcoal and chalk and it is available for next-day shipping.
There are some other advantages to buying through Walmart, too. If you take advantage of the onsite payment plan through Affirm, payments are $20 per month. You can also buy it as a bundle option, as well. When paired with the Google Home Mini you save an extra $30, which typically sells for $49, but is currently $19.
The Google Home Max is one of the company’s most advanced smart speakers. It includes dual 4.5-inch woofers for really clear sound with fantastic bass and it’s compatible with streaming services like YouTube Music, Pandora, and Spotify. Overall, it’s your best choice for a Google smart speaker if you want incredible, loud, quality sound. Even if you feel like you’re a sound snob, we think you’ll like this speaker a lot. Those that use Beats headphones will find that the Home Max is comparable in sound quality.
This speaker isn’t just for music, though. It also has an assistant built-in. Google Assistant can check the weather, set alarms, make you a list, set schedule reminders and much more. Pair it with less expensive Google Assistant compatible speakers like Home Mini to make a smart home network throughout your apartment or house.
While the original price had us feeling that this speaker was a little expensive, at the Black Friday price it’s a great deal. For more information on the Google Home Max, along with specs, check out our review.
There have been a lot of other great deals on Google smart speakers and devices, as well. You can get the Google Nest Hello Smart Wi-Fi Video Doorbell for only $150 ($80 off) and a Frozen 2 Book Home Mini Bundle for just $19.
