If you need to expand your collection of power tools, Presidents’ Day weekend (and even a little bit before and after) is a great time to up get more gear. Long weekends tend to pull out the DIYer in most of us, and if you’ve recently bought one of the best TVs only to let it go unmounted, there’s just something about having an extra day or two off that makes that project seem all the more manageable. Retailers know this as well, and they’re absolutely ready to compete for your attention when it comes to getting the tool in your hand that will help you finish the job. Here are the best Presidents’ Day power tool deals being offered from all of your favorite brands.
Bosch power tools are quite affordable, with their battery-powered tools coming in 12V and 18V variations. The former being smaller and easier to handle (great for tiny, shorter jobs) and the latter being more powerful and somewhat more of a standard size. This year, we’re finding that Bosch’s Presidents’ Day sale offerings are all over the place, with bundles that include batteries, “bare tool” deals on 18V tools allow you to use an already obtained 18V battery and save more, and corded tools all being on sale for incredibly low prices.
We’re finding DeWalt’s powerful 20V Max tools, both as kits with batteries and “bare tool” without, on sale for Presidents’ Day. Getting a DeWalt “bare tool” deal is a great way to expand your existing DeWalt 20V collection without having to pay for the battery again, but you can also purchase this on-sale DeWalt 20V battery and charger kit to jump start your collection and get the tool you need. Also, if you’re looking for a deal on one of the best tire inflators, the DeWalt Tire Inflator is the deal for you.
Note that the DeWalt 20V Max Power Tool Combo Kit is titled as a 4-tool kit but actually contains 5 tools.
While Milwaukee is one of our — and your — top brands for getting things done around the house (like mounting a TV), there are admittedly fewer options available this year. Luckily, if you’re a long-time Milwaukee user, the “bare tool” deals that we did find, are absolutely perfect for you. Also, note that the second item on this list is an M12 tool, not an M18, and uses a different battery.
While the above brands are some of the most popular around, and readers of Digital Trends tend to like them more than others, there are other good brands, including Black+Decker, Skil, and more. Plus, we’ve found some other types of deals, including pressure washer deals and more things that you might like that aren’t covered in the usual range of power tools.

Apple’s home hub could finally arrive this spring with a rather unique design
Back in October 2024, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported that the home hub could borrow design cues from Apple's iMac G4, featuring a display roughly the size of two iPhones placed side by side on a circular base. Apple was also said to be preparing a higher-end version with a robotic arm, which could retail for around $1,000.
