The S95C features premium 4K upscaling and such a high picture quality that, during our Samsung 95C review, our reviewer declared it “the best TV Samsung has ever made.” (At least as of that date in May of 2023). Why? It succeeds really well in dealing with whatever your environment throws at it and, short of a direct hit from a beam of sunlight, you can expect excellent quality. This, when combined with its superb color gamut and Pantone Validated screen, make for an excellent experience. Then, throw in Samsung’s Gaming Hub and the no-recharge-required SolarCell remote and you’ve got an overall splendid TV experience.

While even the best streaming services might not be pitching out much 8K content, it doesn’t mean you have to settle for less. Using its Neural Quantum Processor 8K, the QN900C will upscale existing content up, giving you a taste of the future on older content and even today’s biggest work that hasn’t yet made the 8K transition. Another win for this TV is the excellent viewing angle it allows. Combining anti-glare technology and Samsung’s Ultra Viewing Angle tech, you can get fantastic color “at any angle, in any light.”

We find the QN85C to be sitting at just about the perfect price for a TV right now, while still maintaining the qualities and freshness of a much more quality TV. While it is 4K, it uses mini-LED tech, which allows for fine-tuned light control. Remember that the best QLED TVs are typically renowned more for their brightness than contrast; this tech can tip that need for contrast in the QN85C’s favor. Other great features of this TV include audio with Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound, 4K upscaling, and motion acceleration to keep fast moving content smooth.

Never mind the fact that this absolutely massive TV — at 98 inches — is priced better than others, it also has a ton of great features packed in to enhance your viewing experience. The supersize picture enhancer, for example, uses AI to optimize the picture for the larger-size panel reducing noise and improving sharpness. You also get 4K upscaling, mega contrast, a vibrant picture with Samsung’s bright technology, and benefit from Motion Xcelerator 120 for 120Hz smooth onscreen action. The crystal processor 4K and Samsung Tizen OS add even more to that features list — you can watch all your favorite streaming services as soon as you connect to WiFi.

The QN90D is a fairly recent Samsung TV, having been released in 2024. Its image is powered by Neo QLED technology, and the TV has a wide number of upgrades over previous models. Those include Motion Xcelerator Turbo+ for gaming, Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound+ for immersive audio, and Neo Quantum HDR+ for a high quality image. This TV also has 4K AI upscaling, so you can watch knowing all of your favorite content — even the older stuff — is being presented in 4K resolution.

With the S90D you’re getting one of Samsung’s more recently released TVs. This ensures you’re getting the newest technologies, and in particular, the latest OLED technology. This TV provides a dramatic view in its standard mode, but it also has OLED HDR+, which analyzes each scene t boost brightness and improve image clarity. A second generation AI processor drives the capabilities of the S90D, and it will instantly convert all of your favorite older content into stunning 4K quality.

Instagram is making its way to yet another screen, and this time, Apple TV is getting a taste of the Reels rabbit hole. Audio-Technica, a brand well known for making some of the best studio and professional headphones on the market, has just come out with the ATH-AWX7000, which the company itself claims to be its "finest headphones ever." The new flagship closed-back headphone has debuted at an eye-watering price of $3,799. It combines hand-finished Japanese woodwork with a newly developed 58mm driver.

The earcups are made from Kiso cypress, a prized wood historically used for Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples. Each housing is finished by hand with traditional Echizen lacquer, which brings out the grain and is expected to darken over time. The frame and sliders are finished in a deep navy kachi-iro shade traditionally associated with samurai.
