Not every TV needs to be packed with advanced features, especially if it’s a smaller set that’s being relegated to a guest room. Or maybe an old flatscreen of yours is on the fritz, and you need something relatively inexpensive to tide you over. Whatever your reason for not spending thousands on a brand-new TV, we’re pleased to inform you that one of our favorite TV deals of the week is this Hisense set:
Right now, you can purchase the Hisense 50-inch A7N 4K LED on Amazon and pay only $240. That’s a $60 discount for those at home keeping score.
Classed as one of Hisense’s 2024 entry-level LED models, the A7N Series has several tricks up its sleeve that continue to fool us into thinking it’s more a mid-range TV than a starter set. One such feat is the TV’s wide color gamut and solid contrast levels. When watching 4K HDR content (the TV supports all HDR formats), you’ll be amazed at the specular highlights this TV can pull off. Still, it’s best to place this model in a darker room, as it doesn’t have the most significant reflection handling.
The Hisense A7N has a native 60Hz refresh rate, but it has a fast response time and low input lag, which means it’s a pretty good TV to play video games with. It even has VRR and ALLM support, so the TV automatically chooses to optimize gameplay settings when a console is detected.
Apps, casting, and smart home controls are made possible by the A7N’s built-in Fire TV OS. Enjoy thousands of movies and TV shows through popular platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video (subscriptions required), use Alexa to control your smart lights, and so much more.
Save $60 when you purchase the Hisense 50-inch A7N Series 4K LED right now. We also recommend looking through our lists of the best soundbar deals and best Amazon deals for even more markdowns on top Hisense TVs.
Instagram is making its way to yet another screen, and this time, Apple TV is getting a taste of the Reels rabbit hole. The company has launched a dedicated Instagram app for Apple TV, bringing Reels, longer videos, and live shows to the big screen. So, if watching one quick clip on a phone somehow turns into an hour of scrolling, there's now a much larger screen for that.

Audio-Technica, a brand well known for making some of the best studio and professional headphones on the market, has just come out with the ATH-AWX7000, which the company itself claims to be its "finest headphones ever." The new flagship closed-back headphone has debuted at an eye-watering price of $3,799. It combines hand-finished Japanese woodwork with a newly developed 58mm driver.
The earcups are made from Kiso cypress, a prized wood historically used for Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples. Each housing is finished by hand with traditional Echizen lacquer, which brings out the grain and is expected to darken over time. The frame and sliders are finished in a deep navy kachi-iro shade traditionally associated with samurai.
