When we reviewed it, we felt like the Samsung HW-Q990C ticked all the boxes, especially since it basically functions as a DTS:X and Atmos solution right out of the box without having to have complicated setups or any additional gear. The soundbar itself even has four up-firing channels to give you an entirely immersive experience and true 11.1.4 channel surround sound, or at least as close to it as you can get with the sound design you’ll find in most films and shows.
Of course, in terms of audio, the fidelity is excellent, and given how many speakers it has and just the overall build quality, you get something that can really pump out the volume, which is great for a larger space. Plus, Samsung has added an Adaptive Sound feature that auto-scans for dialogue and enhances voice so they are easier to hear, which is very much a problem in modern shows and films. Even better, its SpaceFit Sound Pro feature listens to the sound of the room itself and adjusts the speakers and the sounds coming out of them to make sure you get the best overall experience, so it’s pretty smart.

Instagram is making its way to yet another screen, and this time, Apple TV is getting a taste of the Reels rabbit hole. The company has launched a dedicated Instagram app for Apple TV, bringing Reels, longer videos, and live shows to the big screen. So, if watching one quick clip on a phone somehow turns into an hour of scrolling, there's now a much larger screen for that.

The new flagship closed-back headphone has debuted at an eye-watering price of $3,799. It combines hand-finished Japanese woodwork with a newly developed 58mm driver.
The earcups are made from Kiso cypress, a prized wood historically used for Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples. Each housing is finished by hand with traditional Echizen lacquer, which brings out the grain and is expected to darken over time. The frame and sliders are finished in a deep navy kachi-iro shade traditionally associated with samurai.
