Everyone watches YouTube. From cooking demos and vlogs to sports highlights and interviews, YouTube has countless hours of video content. Add free movies to the list of possibilities on the service.

To stream free movies, go to the Explore tab on your device and click on “Movies & TV.” There, you’ll find a section that says “Free with ads.” This month, you’ll find top movies like The Truman Show and The Exorcist. Check out the rest of our recommendations below.

The Truman Show is a film about a fictional show about a man (Jim Carrey) who doesn’t know that his entire life is part of a hit TV show. Though he grows up thinking nothing’s wrong, Truman begins to see the cracks in his illusory and idyllic world, which is essentially one giant soundstage.

Though his friends and family try to keep Truman at ease, the latter attempts to escape, and the show’s creators scramble to contain him.

The Exorcist opens with Father Merrin (Max von Sydow) in northern Iraq as he unearths a talisman of a demon that he previously encountered, heralding a terrifying battle between good and evil. We then follow actor Chris MacNeil (Ellen Burstyn) in Georgetown and her daughter, Regan (Linda Blair), who becomes possessed by the same demon after summoning it with an Ouija board.

As all forms of modern science fail to treat Regan, Chris is forced to seek the aid of Father Karras (Jason Miller). Though Karras struggles with his loss of faith and his guilt over his mother’s death, he is compelled to help Chris save her daughter’s body and soul from the demon’s wrath.

After winning a trip to Cannes, Mr. Bean (Rowan Atkinson) travels to France with his trusty camcorder and unleashes all sorts of comedic chaos. He ultimately meets young Stepan (Maxim Baldry), whom he accidentally separated from his father (Karel Roden) at a train station.

Bean thus embarks on a quest to reunite Stepan with his family. He eventually crashes a movie set and travels to Cannes with actor Sabine (Emma de Caunes), making for a hilarious holiday that’s not so relaxing.

This isn’t the story that they teach in English Lit. Monty Python and the Holy Grail spoofs the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on a quest from God to find the titular grail in Medieval England.

This hilarious film features several iconic gags and sketches that have become synonymous with Monty Python. We see the characters riding invisible horses and clacking coconuts, and they encounter such bizarre foes as the French Taunter, the Knights Who Say “Ni,” and the Black Beast of Aaaaargghh.

In this broadcast of the hit British play, the fictional Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society puts on a theatrical production of Peter Pan. As the title implies, the play goes awry in many hilarious ways, from sets collapsing to props not working to actors getting injured.

In the midst of all this chaos, we see the cast getting into some personal drama that is a story in itself. When one player’s romantic feelings are accidentally revealed onstage, Peter Pan Goes Wrong transforms into a mix of hysterical comedy and heartfelt pathos that must be seen to be believed.

Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze headline Kathryn Bigelow’s excellent action thriller, Point Break. Former college quarterback Johnny Utah (Reeves) is a hot-shot FBI agent who teams with veteran agent Angelo Pappas (Gary Busey) to catch a group of bank robbers known as the “Ex-Presidents.” The duo hypothesizes that the robbers are surfers, so Utah goes undercover within the beach community, searching for more information.

While posing as a surfer, Utah meets Bodhi (Swayze), the eccentric leader of a group of surfers. As Utah spends more time with the surfers, he develops a genuine bond with the free-spirited Bodhi. However, this complicates Utah’s mission, blurring the lines between his new friends and his job.

The Illusionist beat the similarly themed film, The Prestige, to theaters by about two months, but Christopher Nolan’s movie is the superior of the two. Regardless, The Illusionist has its charms, largely in the core trio of Edward Norton, Jessica Biel, and Paul Giamatti. When they were young, Eduard Abramovich (Norton) and Duchess Sophie Von Teschen (Biel) had a passion for each other that her parents forbade.

Upon adulthood, Edward reinvented himself as Eisenheim — The Illusionist — and reunited with Sophie before she could be married to the malevolent Prince Leopold (Rufus Sewell). When Sophie is murdered, Chief Inspector Walter Uhl (Giamatti) is unnerved when Eisenheim appears to be able to summon Sophie’s spirit at will.
