We are back with a new selection of videos to tickle your fancy. These videos are not all from this week, but they all made us laugh or caused our jaws to drop recently. Enjoy!

Biker Taunts Death

Not sure what this biker was out to do when he was filming his ride, but the resulting crash is fairly amazing. When he is rear-ended by a car, he jumps up and lands on top of his bike…on his feet. If this is fake, which many will no doubt claim, the effort to fake it is so remarkable, that he gets props regardless.

Fire is Pretty

In the immortal words of a famous and beloved comedian and TV star, “Fire fire fire fire fire fire!” Check out this illusion below made with candles and possibly witchcraft.

The Last Space Shuttle Discovery Flight as Seen From the Air

It was a sad day for fans of space exploration, as we were forced to pour out a little liquor for our homie, the space shuttle Discovery. As soon as it lands, Discovery will be heading off to play shuffle board in Florida, as Sunday’s launch marks the last ride of the the shuttle. The final launch was caught by several cameras, but perhaps none were more unusual than this video, which was caught on a smartphone from a passing airplane. When the Discovery first launched in 1984, calculators were considered radical, so it is oddly fitting that the last ride of the shuttle is caught by a device more powerful than any of the computers onboard the Apollo capsules.

Skier Taunts Death

A guy wearing a helmet cam has a bad day. Feel free to laugh at his pain, as he was alright and walked away with only a few cuts and bruises.

Surfer Taunts Death (It’s a Theme)

The only thing missing in this video of a guy riding out a monster wave is Keanu Reeves standing on the shore.

[Updated to correct an error regarding the space shuttle.  The Discovery has launched for the last time, but there are still two more planned space shuttle launches before the program reaches its end.  Thanks to our reader “fgoodwin” for catching the error.]

It is a smart, calculated move toward what the tech industry calls a "lean-back" experience. Instead of hunching over a laptop or squinting at a smartphone screen to watch a forty-minute interview or a deep-dive lecture, you can now throw it on the TV while you cook dinner, fold laundry, or just relax on the couch.

Netflix’s latest move is huge for movie theaters, and fantastic for you and I

In April 2025, Sarandos previously stated that he loved theaters but thought that theatrical moviegoing is an “outmoded idea, for most people, not for everybody.” As a result, Netflix's purchase of Warner Bros. ignited backlash and fears over the film industry's future.
