Liam Neeson and his particular set of skills are on the wrong side of the law in Taken 3. This first trailer for the January 9, 2015 release lays out the basic premise. Neeson’s Bryan Mills is back and he’s as angry as ever when malevolent forces start messing with his family.

You know what an angry Bryan Mills means, right? A lot of bad people are going to get shot in the face.

It looks like Mills is framed for the murder of someone close to him early on, and that lands him in the crosshairs of law enforcement. Rather than trust government officials to perform the task they’ve been trained for, Mills takes matters into his own hands. And he’s very gruff about it.

The Taken movies are always a good time, and this third one looks like it’s more of badass Liam Neeson doing badass Liam Neeson things. We can get on board with that.
