What happens when you take a beloved, but admittedly corny video game and mix it with a solid movie smothered in Oscar gold dust? That’s right, boys and girls, it’s “Leo DiCaprio’s Pro Revenant!”

(Warning: The video includes mild spoilers for The Revenant and will generally make more sense after watching the movie.)

The spoof from gaming web channel One Perfect Shot a scene from Academy Award best picture nominee The Revenant and adds both audio and graphical overlays reminiscent of the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. In the hypothetical game, Leonardo DiCaprio — based on the title we can assume the player would control the actor and not Hugh Glass, the character he played in the movie — gets points and builds up his special meter for killing Native American attackers, riding his horse, and generally working toward avenging his son’s death.

At the end of the skit, DiCaprio falls off a cliff, just 200 points shy of what he needed to win an Academy Award. Whomp whomp.

The video also briefly shows menus with the game’s other modes, which include “2 Players” — I’m not sure how that would work — “Horsey Race,” and “Bear Fight,” referencing the film’s infamous mauling scene.

Based on the 2002 novel by Michael Punke, The Revenant recounts the story of 19th century tracker Hugh Glass, who is left behind by his fellow fur trappers after sustaining severe injuries in the northern wilderness. The film, directed by 2015 Oscar winner Alejandro González Iñárritu, has been nominated for 12 Academy Awards in 2016, including Best Picture, Best Director and a Best Actor nod for Leonardo DiCaprio. Released in 1999, the original Tony Hawk Pro Skater was arguably the pinnacle of extreme sports in video games. The latest entry in the series, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5, was widely considered one of the worst games of 2015.
