Revenge is a common theme in many Liam Neeson movies. Ice Road: Vengeance gives the theme away in its title. After the events of 2021’s The Ice Road, Mike McCann (Neeson) heads to Nepal to honor the last wishes of his dead brother: scatter the ashes on Mount Everest.
With the help of a local guide, Mike begins his trek up the mountain. When mercenaries interrupt these plans, Mike will stop at nothing to complete his task, even if that means killing a few bad guys along the way.

In WWE, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson used to walk to the ring while receiving thunderous applause that seemingly shook the arena. In San Andreas, the world literally shakes when the trouble at the San Andreas fault leads to catastrophic earthquakes.
Rescue helicopter pilot Ray Gaines (Dwayne Johnson) and his ex-wife Emma (Carla Gugino) race from Los Angeles to San Francisco to rescue their daughter (Alexandra Daddario). Along the way, they’ll have to navigate the natural disasters that plague their journey. San Andreas emphasizes the special effects over the story, to mixed results. That being said, the destruction is exhilarating to witness.

How did a tiny independent movie attract such an eccentric cast of talented actors and future stars? The standouts in Wet Hot American Summer include Paul Rudd, Janeane Garofalo, David Hyde Pierce, Molly Shannon, Christopher Meloni, Amy Poehler, Elizabeth Banks, and Bradley Cooper.
David Wain’s comedy takes place on the last day of summer at the fictional Camp Firewood. Wet Hot American Summer satirizes the teen comedies of the era, providing tongue-in-cheek commentary on the ridiculous tropes and stereotypes of the era. Embrace the movie’s absurdity and don’t take it too seriously.

Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret. is undoubtedly sweet. As Margaret tackles some of the problems — including puberty and gossip — that many young girls face, she has a crisis of faith. Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret. is thoughtful and endearing, making it a standout Blume adaptation.

I’m not sure what happened with critics on Here, Robert Zemeckis’ drama that uses a static shot to tell the circle of life. The movie depicts the time of the dinosaurs through the love story of Richard (Tom Hanks) and Margaret Young (Robin Wright).
Here does not lack ambition, as Zemeckis has always been one to experiment with new filmmaking techniques. It’s the best movie ever made, but the emotional scenes between Richard and Margaret hit harder than expected.
