Just months after SoundCloud Pulse debuted on Android phones, SoundCloud has finally released the iOS version.

SoundCloud Pulse is designed for artists and creators already using SoundCloud to keep track of their accounts and feedback from their listeners when on the go. Musicians, radio hosts, and professional artists are now able to reply to comments made on their audio content via their smartphone or tablet. Both Android and iOS users can view up-to-date performance stats on their tracks, allowing users to filter stats by date, view their top played tracks, and see how many likes, reposts, and downloads each track has received.

The SoundCloud blog says users also have the option to share their tracks publicly or in private. In addition, users are able to edit song descriptions and follow other accounts. For iOS users only, they have the ability to block other SoundCloud accounts and delete comments, as well as reply to comments using emoji. The privately-owned company promised a future update that features more in-depth stats and the ability to upload and edit track information, as well.

SoundCloud Pulse debuted in November 2015, with many asking “why a second app?”. “This is something we discussed a lot internally. We want to meet the needs of creators and listeners as best we can and believe having two apps is the best way to do that. It’s a challenge to keep an app with many features simple to use and easy to maintain. Having two apps allows us to iterate more often in each, without risking disturbing what’s most important in each app,” replied Senior Marketing Manager Brendan Codey on the site’s blog.

The iOS version is now available for free download.
