It seems like 2022 will be the year of the foldable, and Asus joined the segment at its The Incredible Unfolds event on Wednesday when it announced a full-fledged laptop with a huge touch-screen that — you guessed it — folds. Here’s all you need to know about the event if you missed it.

Asus announced a slew of laptops at its The Incredible Unfolds event at CES 2022. The stand-out device was a foldable – Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED. It features a large 17.3-inch display that can be folded to become a 12.5-inch display. According to the company, the hinge has been tested for 30,000 cycles for durability.
The Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM on board along with 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 Performance SSD. The laptop also meets US MIL-STD 810H military-grade standard, as per Asus. The huge foldable tablet is powered by up to 12th Gen Intel Core i7 U-series processor. Moreover, it can be paired with an ErgoSense Bluetooth keyboard when used in PC mode. It is scheduled to launch later this year. We don’t know the pricing yet.
