Cyber Week deals make for one of the best times of the year to buy a new phone. Even in the wake of Cyber Monday, we’re seeing plenty of phone deals to pounce on, including discounts on some flagships from Samsung and Motorola. If you’re looking for specific phone deals, be sure to check out Cyber Week iPhone deals and Cyber Week Samsung phone deals. If you’re looking to browse through several different brands, read onward for all of the best Cyber Week phone deals available.
The 2023 Motorola Razr Plus is the perfect phone for those who want a very budget-friendly flip phone that still has a lot of power, especially since it has a whopping $500 discount on it. In fact, our Mobile Editor Joe Maring said, “The Motorola Razr Plus is the best flip phone foldable I’ve ever used. Between the unmatched cover screen, stunning hardware, and powerful specs, there’s just so much to like.”
If you’d like a budget option from Apple, then the Apple iPhone SE 3 is really the way to go, although all that’s available is an Amazon Renewed model. It comes with a 4.7-inch Retina HD display, a 12MP rear camera, and the A15 Bionic chip, the latter of which is one of the most powerful chips that Apple currently offers.
If you’re really craving a big chunky screen and a pen experience, then the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra can give you both, and with a $850 discount, it’s well worth considering. When our senior mobile writer Andy Boxall got his hands on it, he said, “The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is one of the most complete, most capable, and most creatively versatile smartphones we’ve ever used.”
If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly foldable, this OnePlus Open is a great option. We even felt in our review that “The OnePlus Open is a great new foldable, and it costs less than you’d expect.” In fact, you can currently get a whopping $386 discount on it, which brings it down to $1,200, which is a lot cheaper than most foldables out there.
While there are a lot of phones out there to pick from, what it really comes down to is your specific use-case scenario. For example, if you’re the type of person who really loves photography, then you may want to get yourself a camera phone such as the Samsung S24 Ultra or the OnePlus 12. On the other hand, if you’re looking for budget options, then what you’ll mostly want to focus on is having a good amount of RAM, either 3GB or 4GBs, and a relatively good amount of storage or a phone that has the option to use a MicroSD card.
Besides that, there are also things to consider, such as waterproofing and how rugged a phone is, depending on how much time you spend outside. It’s not something to worry about seriously, especially since most modern phones tend to have some kind of waterproofing and dustproofing, but it’s worth keeping in mind for foldable phones that aren’t as rugged. Finally, the ecosystem tends to be important for most people, and while Android is pretty widespread, Google and Samsung have their own ecosystems set up, so if you’re in one of the two, you might want to go for the phone in that specific system.
Given that there are so many smartphones out there, it’s probably no surprise that there are always dozens and dozens of ongoing deals to pick from. Not only that, but there are both locked and unlocked deals as well, so it can sometimes be hard to find the best deals possible. That said, we rely on our experience as reviewers and deal hunters to not only find the best deals but also focus on unlocked deals so that you don’t have to be tied to a carrier when purchasing anything.
While it’s true that you may sometimes find better carrier deals, at the end of the day, it’s about giving you as many options as possible. That way, you aren’t only getting the best bang for your buck but also the best phone for your needs.
Not long ago, Apple treated independent repair like an act of outright hostility. The Cupertino giant locked down parts with serial-number pairing, while repair tools remained firmly out of reach of anyone outside its authorized repair network. More importantly, the company waged a legal and lobbying battle against right-to-repair legislation.
I've covered enough of these fights over the years to know what a shift looks like. That's why what happened in October 2026 genuinely caught me off guard. The day the iPhone Duo went on sale, what may be the most mechanically complex iPhone to date, Apple pulled off a surprising about-face. It published teardown-style repair manuals for a handful of major components.
Apple's first foldable phone is now on shelves, in short supply, but with an unreal amount of buzz around it. After all, it's the first foldable iPhone, and there's plenty that this phone gets right. But there's also a lot that is either broken or underwhelming. What's peculiar is the dialogue around this phone, and how it has completely overshadowed every other attempt at making a phone with a similar form factor.
I've spent some time with the iPhone Duo, and I've used the Galaxy Z Fold 8 for almost three months now. In my opinion, Samsung deserves more credit. When the Galaxy Z Fold 8 arrived earlier this year, it was celebrated in some circles and ridiculed in others for supposedly copying what Apple would eventually deliver with the iPhone Duo. The dialogue was pretty odd, for multiple reasons. Samsung has been making foldable phones for years, so claiming that it copied a product Apple hadn't even launched was simply absurd.
For years, Samsung’s Galaxy A phones have been some of the easiest recommendations for anyone who wants to go the Android route without paying flagship prices. But that part of the lineup could soon become harder to find at a good price.
According to South Korea’s Electronic Times, Samsung is cutting Galaxy A production by about 20% in the fourth quarter compared to its original plans. Component orders have reportedly dropped by a similar amount, which could mean roughly 10 million fewer phones over the year. Samsung is also said to be considering another production cut of more than 10% next year.
