Motorola’s Razr 2026 is now covered in sparkly Swarovski crystals

Motorola unveiled a Swarovski edition of the Razr 2026 at IFA 2026 in Berlin, adding 35 crystals and a new Pantone Meteorite finish.

Motorola’s most affordable foldable phone this year just got a lot fancier. The company has unveiled a new Moto Razr 2026 with Crystals by Swarovski at IFA 2026 in Berlin, giving the base Razr a fresh finish covered in crystals.

The phone is part of Motorola’s latest Brilliant Collection and comes in a new Pantone Meteorite color. Underneath all of the decoration, though, this is still the same Moto Razr 2026 that launched in April, which is sold as the Razr 70 in global markets. Motorola also used the Berlin show to announce the Moto Watch Ultra and Motorola Edge 70 Plus.

Motorola has covered the rear of the phone in a quilted, leather-inspired texture and added 35 hand-positioned Swarovski crystals in Silver Night across the surface. A larger 32-facet Swarovski crystal also sits in the center of the hinge.

It is a much flashier look than the regular Razr 2026, which is available in Pantone Hematite, Violet Ice, Sporting Green, and Bright White. The darker Meteorite finish also gives this year’s version a noticeably different look from Motorola’s previous Swarovski Razr, which launched alongside a matching pair of Swarovski-themed Moto Buds Loop. This year, however, the company has not announced a matching accessory for the new Razr as of the time of writing.

No. The Swarovski edition keeps the same hardware as the regular Razr 2026. That means a MediaTek Dimensity 7450X, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage, alongside a 6.9-inch 120Hz Extreme AMOLED main display.

The 3.6-inch external AMOLED display runs at 90Hz and can handle full apps, notifications, and message replies without opening the phone. Camera hardware includes a 50MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide with macro support, and a 32MP selfie camera. There is also the same 4,800mAh battery with 30W TurboPower and wireless charging.

The crystal treatment adds $100 to the price. The Motorola Razr with Crystals by Swarovski starts at $899.99 in the US and will be available through Motorola.com and Amazon starting September 10. Verizon will begin selling it on September 24.

Are you tired of paying for streaming services you never watch just to get a phone plan feature you actually want? T-Mobile has good news for you! The carrier is rolling out new plans, called T-Mix, in early November to replace its old Experience lineup with a build-your-own perks system called Picks.

The benefits you choose vary from streaming and gaming to food delivery, AI, satellite service, and phone discounts. But if you are satisfied with your existing plan, you can keep it.

Merely days after the iPhone Duo hit the shelves, images of broken screens on the phone started popping up across social media. Until now, it’s been unclear what’s causing the line of defective pixels that appears vertically along the crease, as well as horizontally, on the phone’s inner display.

Apple has finally acknowledged the issue, which has shown up on iPhone Duo units owned by customers as well as demo units in stores. In a statement shared with Bloomberg, Apple says that not all iPhone Duo units are affected and that those that are tend to show the display fault early on. The company added that users who experience problems with their iPhone Duo display should contact AppleCare for a replacement.

Not long ago, Apple treated independent repair like an act of outright hostility. The Cupertino giant locked down parts with serial-number pairing, while repair tools remained firmly out of reach of anyone outside its authorized repair network. More importantly, the company waged a legal and lobbying battle against right-to-repair legislation.

I've covered enough of these fights over the years to know what a shift looks like. That's why what happened in October 2026 genuinely caught me off guard. The day the iPhone Duo went on sale, what may be the most mechanically complex iPhone to date, Apple pulled off a surprising about-face. It published teardown-style repair manuals for a handful of major components.
