Phone cases, mobile accessories, adapters, wireless speakers, you name it, Rokform carries it. As one of our primary choices for mobile gear, we’re excited to share some of the Black Friday deals that just dropped. But here’s the thing: You’re not locked into any one type of product or accessory. That’s because Rokform is offering 30% off sitewide — yes, sitewide — from today until December 3. To get that deal, on virtually anything Rokform, all you have to do is use code BFCM24 at checkout. Of course, we’re also going to share a few of our favorite deals.
One common stressor when you’re out and about, especially if you’re on a day trip or can’t get to a charger is battery life. No one wants their phone battery to die on them in the middle of the day. But with something like a power bank, that’s not an issue. Rokform has a magnetic power bank with a 5,000mAh capacity, normally $50 but on sale for Black Friday for $35 — saving you $15.
Some of the most popular mobile accessories Rokform offers are phone cases, for iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, and Google devices. There are iPad cases, too. Need to remain hands-free? How about car mounts, motorcycle mounts, bike mounts, and universal mounts? The latter makes it possible, and convenient, to mount your phone anywhere.
I find the G-Rok wireless golf speaker super interesting, as well, especially with the Black Friday pricing. Normally $100, it’s $70 with the coupon code — saving you $30. It’s compact and lightweight, and it’s a Bluetooth speaker so it works wirelessly with pretty much anything that supports the connectivity standard. You can sync music from Android or iOS devices, to name a few. It sticks to golf carts or metal objects, so you can mount it as needed. I would mount it to my pool screen enclosure, for instance. It’s waterproof and rugged-built, too. But here’s the most interesting part: It supports microSD. So you can load a bunch of music tracks on an SD card and play music without a phone or connected device. Just bring your entire playlist with you everywhere you go and carry this personal Bluetooth speaker. Heck yeah.
Either way, whether you need a new iPhone case, want a hands-free mount, or the G-Rok Bluetooth speaker, these deals are worth shopping. Don’t forget to use the code BFCM24 at checkout to save 30% off sitewide!
Two new highly requested iCloud plugins just got added to ChatGPT, giving people who rely on Apple’s Mail and Calendar services a way to search emails, check appointments, and manage their schedules directly through the chatbot.
The integration is rolling out to all ChatGPT plans, including the free tier. You can access it on the web, desktop, and iOS.
Google Play is borrowing one of the Nintendo Switch’s most useful little tricks. A new Sidekick tool called Playbacks captures a short clip after something interesting has already happened, sparing players from running a screen recorder throughout an entire game.
Playbacks is part of Google Play Store v53.8 and keeps saved clips on the phone. Google first announced it earlier this month, but the new Play Store update marks its arrival for players. Anyone who has watched a perfect win vanish because the record button came too late already understands the appeal.
Samsung’s scandal over its Game Optimizing Service, or GOS, has returned with a bill attached. South Korea’s Fair Trade Commission has tentatively fined the company 20.1 billion won, or about $15.1 million, over gaming claims made for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22, and Tab S8.
The regulator says Samsung promoted the devices as gaming powerhouses without disclosing that GOS placed preset CPU and GPU limits on certain demanding games. Samsung disputes that conclusion, calling GOS a legitimate way to manage heat.
