The OnePlus 7T may be the Android phone for the rest of us. It’s not the latest OnePlus phone anymore, but with every feature carefully planned, and at a smidgen under $600, there are no wasted bells and whistles. The critical options are all there: Fast charging, speedy processor, easy-to-use software, and a versatile camera. It’s attractive without that iPhone or Samsung flash, but offers some intriguing and unique features of its own. Even if it is relatively inexpensive compared to some other smartphones out there, you’ll want to start by shielding its glass face from dust, debris, and impact — and perhaps later on even consider a case to keep it perfectly safe. We’ve identified the best OnePlus 7T screen protectors to get you started.

The bubble-free installation is easy to accomplish.
Sparin’s OnePlus 7T screen protector is one of the most popular and well-reviewed protectors currently available from online retailers. Its tempered glass has a 9H hardness rating, enabling it to withstand a range of everyday falls, knocks, and scuffs. It’s also a highly thin protector that Sparin claims offers 99% clarity and light transparency, meaning that it doesn’t interfere or alter the 7T’s display quality. As an added bonus, it’s case-friendly thanks to the inclusion of curved edges, while its alignment frame makes it very easy to apply. Did we also mention that it comes in a high-value pack of four?

This screen protector is thin enough to maintain the OnePlus 7T’s highly reactive sensitivity to touch and pressure— you won’t need to tap several times or push extra hard to hit a button. On top of that, this screen protector won’t cause a terrible “halo effect” or produce bubbles when you apply it, unlike other products.
The device is easy to apply, although they include instructions for additional help. Fortunately, it’s also compatible with several cases due to the small amount of space around its edges.
The Omoton screen protector’s unique laser-cut design maximizes protection for the OnePlus 7T’s display area. One of its strongest features is its hydrophobic oleophobic screen coating; That design choice essentially protects your device from fingerprints, oil residue, and sweat, while the protector’s 9H hardness-rated tempered glass prevents scratches. The screen protector fits well with many cases because it doesn’t cover rounded edges. The protector is also only 0.3mm thick, which prevents it from disrupting your phone’s original touch sensitivity. Fortunately, the company provides all the necessary tools for installation and a professional installation video, and clear instructions to help you apply it right the first time.

Google Play is borrowing one of the Nintendo Switch’s most useful little tricks. A new Sidekick tool called Playbacks captures a short clip after something interesting has already happened, sparing players from running a screen recorder throughout an entire game.
Playbacks is part of Google Play Store v53.8 and keeps saved clips on the phone. Google first announced it earlier this month, but the new Play Store update marks its arrival for players. Anyone who has watched a perfect win vanish because the record button came too late already understands the appeal.
Samsung’s scandal over its Game Optimizing Service, or GOS, has returned with a bill attached. South Korea’s Fair Trade Commission has tentatively fined the company 20.1 billion won, or about $15.1 million, over gaming claims made for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22, and Tab S8.
The regulator says Samsung promoted the devices as gaming powerhouses without disclosing that GOS placed preset CPU and GPU limits on certain demanding games. Samsung disputes that conclusion, calling GOS a legitimate way to manage heat.
