Industrial Designer Joey Roth stopped by Digital Trends to give us a firsthand look at his Ceramic Speakers. Roth’s minimalist, audiophile-grade speakers are made from porcelain, cork, and Baltic birch, and can connect directly to iPods, computers, and televisions via a standard headphone jack. The included amplifier is made from stainless steel sheet metal and features a paulownia volume slider. Roth used no plastic in the system, aside from the electronic components.
