Update 10/9/24: Day two of Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days is here and we’re keeping tabs on all of the best Prime Day drone deals to shop. There’s some leftovers from yesterday still available and we’ve even added some Prime Day drone deals to reflect what’s going on today.
Prime Day deals season is upon us once more, with the Amazon Big Deal Days event now into its second day. That means now is the perfect time to treat yourself to some cool tech like an awesome new drone. In conjunction with the best Prime Day camera deals, you can take some fantastic shots from high above the world you live in. Sure, the best Prime Day smartphone deals are good for occasional snaps, but you can’t take great aerial shots with them. Besides picking out the best Prime Day drone deals, we’ve also highlighted everything you need to consider before buying one. In no time, you’ll know exactly what to do. We update this page regularly so you’ll always be in the know as to where the best drone deals are. Let’s take a look at all you need to know. For something similarly active, don’t forget the GoPro Prime Day deals happening too.
Snapping up one of the best drones is the simplest thing to do, but it’s useful to know more about the subject. DJI is our manufacturer of choice, but you might want to check out the best DJI Drone alternatives instead. They can be more affordable, and knowing what your budget is proves to be a great starting point when buying a drone.
Think about if this is a passing or new hobby or you’re in for the long term. Budget accordingly. The DJI Mini 3 can be a good choice for starting out as it’s not too expensive for a drone. The best cheap drones are also worth considering but can lack crucial features as they can be quite basic. If you’re starting out, focus on features that simplify your journey. Drones, like cameras, can often be as complicated or as simple as you make them.
When it comes to the best deals, we know our stuff. We spend every day seeking out awesome deals, and we’re also experts in tech. That means we can easily spot a genuinely good drone — and we can also spot one that isn’t worth your money. After all, a good deal is only good if it’s something you actually want to own. Because of that, we keep on top of all the latest drone expertise and make sure that we know what’s worth recommending.
Above, you’ll only ever see drone deals that we would recommend to our friends and family, as well as deals that we’re tempted to buy for ourselves. We update this page regularly so the best discounts are available in one place.
Full-frame cameras tend to be chunky beasts, but Sigma wants to prove that big imaging doesn't need a big body. Enter the Sigma FP2, the successor to its tiny, boxy fp mirrorless camera. It keeps the same modular design but packs in some serious upgrades, including a 24.5-megapixel partially stacked full-frame sensor, improved autofocus, 6K video recording, and 70GB of built-in storage. Sigma calls it the world's smallest full-frame camera, and while it might be tiny, the same cannot be said for its price tag.

A phone thermal camera is one of those tools you don’t think you need until the first time it saves you from an expensive problem, and the Thermal Master P3 just got easier to try. For Halloween, it’s discounted with the code THERMCAM10, a 10% cut that works out to $107 off the total. It’s also fresh off a win at the 2026 Tom’s Guide AI Awards for best phone thermal camera, which is the kind of third-party nod that separates a serious tool from the cheap clip-on sensors that flood this category.
We are nearing Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days, which officially run October 6 and 7. But there is no need to wait until the sale begins to start looking. Early offers are already live, and camera gear is one category where I found enough worthwhile discounts to put together a proper creator-focused list.
I’ve deliberately gone wider than interchangeable-lens cameras here. There are pocket and action cameras, a 360 camera, an instant camera, two wireless microphone systems, and a pair of webcams covering very different budgets. Prices were checked on October 2, and as always with Amazon, they can move quickly.
