Fortnite is an ever-evolving game, featuring events and access to limited-time content. In 2018, Samsung announced a special partnership with Epic Games for the Android version of the game in accordance with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. People who preordered the new smartphone between August 10 and August 23, 2018, were given a special offer: A choice between a pair of AKG noise-canceling headphones or 15,000 V-bucks and an exclusive Galaxy Fortnite skin.

While that offer is no longer available, many are still wondering if you can unlock one of the best skins in battle royale.

Unfortunately, the short answer is no, you are no longer able to unlock the Galaxy skin for Fortnite. The offer is no longer available. Afterward, Samsung did offer two additional skin promotions in its place, but those have expired as well. Some players have claimed that you’re still able to gain access to the skin if you file a report with Epic Games, but using that method seems to be hit or miss.

Given that Epic Games and Samsung have a strong connection, it’s possible Fortnite players will gain access to more variations of the Galaxy skin in the future. However, there aren’t any promotions like this in the works, at least publicly.

To give you a heads up about what to expect in the future, here is how the Galaxy skin was originally unlocked when it was available. First, players had to own or buy a Galaxy Note 9 or Galaxy Tab S4. These were the only Samsung products eligible for the offer, but preordering them was not required. It’s important to note that Samsung limited the offer to one skin per mobile device, which means if a friend already redeemed the skin on their eligible phone or tablet, it couldn’t be done again on that device.

Players needed to download on their eligible devices using Galaxy Apps in the Samsung folder. They could locate its banner under the store’s tab, tap the banner, and hit . They would then agree to the game’s terms and conditions to complete the installation. Players also needed to have an Epic Games account to sign in and register the skin.

After starting this Fortnite game, participants were required to play three games of Fortnite on their respective devices. After every single game, the system would log every time a player remembered to return to the lobby. The system would note this, regardless of whether a person won or lost their challenge.

Usually, 24 to 48 hours after a player knocked out the required tasks, like revisiting the lobby, the game would give eligible players a special gift box containing the Fortnite Galaxy skin. You can bet that if Samsung and Epic Games were to feature any other exclusive skin offers on Fortnite, a similar process would be put in place for players to win the prize.

As of right now, Fortnite is booming in the middle of its fourth season. This time around, game makers have connected with Marvel and collaborated to create items based on beloved and infamous characters from the Marvel universe. One of the character prizes you can earn is the Wolverine skin. To win it, you have to tackle the character’s weekly challenges, similar to the 2020 Deadpool challenges.

The best Android phones remain some of the most-anticipated mobiles each year, yet historically, iPad has remained the dominant tablet force. I’ve just come off of a month of testing the OnePlus Pad Go 2, which should be a tempting iPad alternative due to its price and size (a 12-inch screen for a cost that's comparable to the base-level 10-inch iPad), but that time just reminded me how far Android lags behind iPadOS.

I found an iPad browser that finally puts a desktop-like experience on Apple’s tablet

As a result, you won’t find Safari alternatives that can really stand out. On the desktop side for Mac, there’s no such rule. As a result, you can find terrific options such as Perplexity Comet, Dia, and ChatGPT Atlas, aside from the big names such as Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.
